The new bags are a coated canvas material, over 2x as thick as our last bags, luxuriously soft, light, and flexible, still. GO FISH makes its return, along with 2 new designs from Emily Hancock and John de Campos (DELFT and FASTER, respectively) and now is the best time to get these improved totes at the best price!

Shipping has begun! But...

For those of you watching your inboxes or the Copper Frog Games Twitter, you'll notice that shipping labels were printed and a TON of packages went out (seriously, filled the whole back of my car, and these are in padded envelopes!). That said, there's two issues to address.
TL;DR, check your email if you ordered a Boardgamecha or Go Fish shirt, and get back to me soon.
Issues to Address
First, we ran out of envelopes. I ordered a bunch of flat-rate PADDED envelopes from the USPS, but only part of it got fulfilled, so I ran out after shipping the first 50 packages. These are all-bag orders, plus two orders with only Blockhead t-shirts. The rest of the envelopes will be arriving Thursday or Friday, but I'll be at PAX Unplugged then, so they'll be shipped when I get home next week.
Second, I heard from Triangle Manor last week regarding the Go Fish and Boardgamecha designs. There were insurmountable technical issues with the Boardgamecha and Go Fish shirts, and since we do not want to ship subpar products, (and haven't been able to find someone else to print them in a timely fashion-- shirts in the colors we need are currently in very short supply nationally) we are offering either an exchange for a different Blockhead design, or a refund, for backers who added a Go Fish or Boardgamecha t-shirt as part of their pledge. We are both very sad and disappointed to have to do this, but feel it is the right option. Please let us know ASAP what you'd like to do via email; I just finished sending out emails to all backers with a Go Fish or Boardgamecha shirt on Backerkit.
Local Pickup and Convention Pickup
For local pickup and PAX Unplugged pickup, please reach out to me to let me know which you'll be doing, and we can organize times in the next two weeks to get you your bags. I will have a chart to check off the names of backers at PAX, so confirm that you'll be there soon. We leave for Philadelphia on Thursday, and will have additional Shelfie Totes, commemorative enamel pins, t-shirts, The Meeple Machine, and of course, Chiseled and MeepFrog for sale. Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of communication.
When last I posted, 200 of each bag had arrived. I am in the process of sorting out backers' orders for local and PAX Unplugged deliveries, but shortly after the bags showed up, I got really really sick (don't get mono, friends! It's the worst). That sucked about a month of my life away in October, and even now I'm struggling to get enough energy to do more than just my day job some weeks. That said, I am sending out retailer orders this week, followed by bundles this weekend. In fact, I saw this alert that you wanted an update right before I went to the post office to pick up large envelopes for those!
The plan is to have the bulk of the bags mailed out by December 1st, and go to Philadelphia for December 10th. I will have some leftovers from those 600 bags for sale at PAX Unplugged, plus Chiseled, MeepFrog, Blockhead t-shirts, and hardwood Meeple Machine meeples. If you are interested in these titles, please swing by and say hi! I know a lot of you are also doing pickup at PAX, and I can't wait to see what you think of the bags.

TL;DR, 200 of each bag are on their way here and should arrive by the 22nd. US shipping will begin around then. The rest are coming by sea, and hopefully will arrive by December.
Shipping Woes
So, when last we spoke, the pledge manager got put up, shipping was finalized, and we were on track to have pledges shipped by the end of October. Yay!
Then about an hour after I posted that update, I got an email from the factory that the weights were wrong. Like, VERY wrong. Like, the bags weighed twice as much as was quoted to me for months. Boo!
To ensure that the bags are here for fulfilling pledges before the holidays, and to have at least SOME at PAX Unplugged in December, I decided to bite the bullet on shipping only PART of them by air (which is still VERY expensive for 2/5 of the 1500 bags), and the rest will ship by sea. This is costing a fair bit more in total than I had budgeted for, but you're worth it. (Yes, you! You're looking lovely today, by the way!)
Finish Your Backerkit Survey!!!
So that's where we are! There's a few folks who still haven't finished filling in their Backerkit surveys, but I've messaged you all through Kickstarter if you're one of them. Be sure to check your messages!
We will be closing the Backerkit and collecting payment for shipping and add-ons on Tuesday the 19th. If you want to order any shirts, extra bags or more, you're going to want to do that soon!

PAX Unplugged 2021 tickets are on sale for December! We'll be there sharing a wall with our friends in Zephyr Workshop (who we worked with on the Boardgamecha design), selling Shelfie Totes, Chiseled: A Deck-Sculpting Card Game, and meeples! GOOD NEWS!
The bags have begun production in China, and should be done ahead of schedule-- like, almost a month ahead of anticipated ship date! We've ordered 500 of each design thanks to you all, and I can't wait to get yours into your hands as soon as possible-- US backers should have theirs well before November 1st, in fact, though Canadian backers may be delayed a few weeks due to how we're shipping them.
Early delivery?! How do we get that?!
BACKERKIT!
Last night we sent test surveys to several backers. These seem to have arrived okay, so now we're sending the rest! Watch your email for the link to the surveys, and fill those out as soon as you're able (ideally before October 1st).
If you pledged for one or more bags, you will be able to add extra bags or t-shirts to your pledge. This is done on the add-ons page after you've confirmed all other details and answered the questions we're asking, like, "Whoa, where'd you come from?!" (paraphrased, of course). Remember, additional bags only add to your shipping if you're exceeding 3 or exceeding 9. If you're planning on ordering more than that, please reach out to us privately and we can figure out the best way to get them to you.
If you added a shirt toyour pledge in Kickstarter, you will add that to your pledge via the credit applied in Backerkit on the add-ons page. This was the simplest way to let you select your shirt size and style from the pledge manager.
If you pledged but not at a specific tier, but still want access to the pledge manager, let me know!
